Instructor Profile

Dr Ajay Nayak, MDS, is an Oral Physician and Maxillofacial Radiologist with extensive experience in clinical practice, teaching and advanced maxillofacial imaging. He has worked in academic institutions across India, teaching both undergraduate and postgraduate students, and currently serves as Chief Radiologist at INsight CBCT Imaging, Mumbai, as well as Adjunct Professor in the Department of Oral Medicine & Radiology at Yenepoya Dental College, Mangalore.

His principal areas of interest include 3D maxillofacial imaging, temporomandibular joint disorders and oral mucosal lesions. He regularly conducts CBCT workshops in India and internationally and has been an invited speaker at state, national and international conferences. His academic work includes peer-reviewed publications, textbook contributions and the development of CBCT-based grading systems for TMJ and upper cervical spine osteoarthritis and for oropharyngeal airway narrowing.
